Scope of work:
The Account Manager is responsible for generating revenues for Tahrir Academy through developing fundraising programs and executing it. Tahrir Academy is an online collaborative learning platform that envisions "a generation of knowledge seekers, critical thinkers and "future leaders.
Through this opportunity, you will be the key player in generating revenue, building partnerships and brand awareness necessary for the Tahrir Academy to become – and continue to be - the biggest online education project in Egypt and the region.
The crux of the role is to be agile with creating ideas for revenue generation and executing them with excellence.
Market mapping for all the relevant sectors with companies profiles and contacts
Develop corporate fundraising packages that best fit clients interest and customized according to their needs
Prepare customized presentations for each pith according to the client nature
Monitor progress of fundraising drives.
Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.
Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.
Recruit and manage crowdfunding companies
Develop sales and fundraising plan on a quarterly basis with the Marketing and Fundraising Manager
Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors
Create or update donor/corporates databases
Identify and build relationships with potential donors
Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals or solicit donations or sponsorships
Design or produce materials such as posters, Web sites, or newsletters to promote, market, or advertise fundraising events
Handles agreements execution with related teams and deliver needed reports for the client
Plan and direct special events for fundraising
Conduct research to identify the goals, net worth, history of charitable donations, or other data related to potential donors, potential investors, or general donor markets
Passion for education and technology
Good command of English and Arabic language
Ability to develop sales leads, create business opportunities and ventures and close sales & sponsorship deals
Ability to write sales and sponsorship proposals for non-profit organizations
Experience in generating revenue for online businesses/projects is preferable
Ability to effectively communicate (in speaking and writing), in both Arabic and English
Quick learner, and can pick-up new tools quickly
Comfort using internet applications, and various desktop software
